Comments on Our LinkedIn Posts

When someone comments on a LinkedIn post published by a member of our team, we retrieve that comment through LinkedIn’s API so that we can reply to it. For each comment we store the comment text, its timestamp and its identifier, which we need to post our reply under it. We do not store the commenter’s name, profile or any other profile data.

To draft the reply, we send the comment text to an AI model provider (DeepInfra) that processes it on our behalf. We use the comment only to write and post our reply, and it is shown only to the team member who owns the post. We do not sell it, share it with anyone else, combine it with other data, use it for advertising, sales or recruiting, or use it to train AI models. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in answering comments on our posts (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

We delete the comment text and the comment identifier within 48 hours of retrieving them, whether or not we replied. To have a comment removed sooner, email info@ilscipio.com.
